A Few Words About Me

picture of Martin Millar, authorI'm Scottish, from Glasgow. I've lived in London for a long time. I write books under my own name, and I also wrote a series of books about Thraxas under the pseudonym of Martin Scott. My first novel, Milk, Sulphate and Alby Starvation, came out in 1987. I've had around 16 books published. Sometimes I've been successful, sometimes not so successful. I write every day. I like cable TV, music, books, films, and my friends. I also struggle with agoraphobia, which is quite severe. At the moment, the agoraphobia is winning. In 2002 I won the World Fantasy Award for Thraxas. My most recent book is Lonely Werewolf Girl.
